Your Health Foundation is a registered charity committed to supporting better health and primary care for people in Calgary.
Community health depends on primary care access for everyone.
Investing in primary care – now and for the future – will keep people healthier, longer, and reduce healthcare costs in the years ahead.
We will use donations to increase access to team-based care and put the money to work generating sustainable funding for these services.

Our mission
Our mission is to build a community-based primary care environment that supports your health so that you and those that you care about can lead rewarding and productive lives.
Approximately 1.9% of the annual health care budget is allocated to community-based primary care.
Why primary care?
Primary care is the cornerstone of our healthcare system. It is a vital whole-person, collaborative approach to health, but only 1.9% of the annual health care budget is allocated to community-based primary care.
Primary care is the first and most frequent level of contact with a health professional, whether that be in a family doctor’s clinic or a community health centre.
Primary care helps you and your loved ones navigate the health system, provides vital referrals such as screening tests to catch diseases early, and coordinates care with other health professionals when needed.
