More Calgarians than ever before count on primary health care services that go beyond what family doctors and Alberta Health Services provide. Primary care is the first and most frequent point of contact with a healthcare professional. It is where you and your loved ones can receive essential care, referrals, and coordination with other health professionals. Shockingly, only 1.9% of the annual healthcare budget is allocated to community-based primary care.
